Eligibility
- Mares must hold registration papers with either the CWHBA, one of the 15 recognized Warmblood registries (as defined in the CWHBA by-laws), Thoroughbred, Arabian or Anglo Arab.
- Mares must be reproductively sound.*
- Mares may be open or in foal or have foal at foot.
- Mares eligible must be entered with the CWHBA.
- Mares eligible must be inspected.
* reproductively sound is defined as:
"To the best of the consignor's and veterinarian knowledge, this mare is capable of conception and can reasonably be expected to carry a foal to term."
CWHBA makes no warranty and advises the purchaser to examine the Breeding History document and conduct the veterinary exam prior to settlement of sale.
